Japanese and Korean restaurants often take reservations for dinner and may add a service charge for large groups; Thai and Vietnamese spots are usually walk-in and quick-turnover. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Korean BBQ restaurants typically charge per person for all-you-can-eat service with a time limit, and grills are shared at the table. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. If you are looking for an open bar restaurant with good food quality and variance, go to Julie's. My co-workers and I love this place and go almost every day because we can shuffle what we eat, it is very affordable, it is good and the people are very friendly. Just give it a try!

Just discovered my new favorite lunch place in downtown. Itβs a buffet style place designed for lunches. Every bite on this plate was fresh, delicious and perfectly seasoned. Tasted like lots of care and thoughtfulness went into the preparation. Quite literally canβt wait to go back. Also always bodes well if a place can do VEGGIES, this good, everything else Iβm sure will be stellar.

This is a steam table style restaurant with a wide variety of options, from Mediterranean salad to Korean fried chicken wings. Itβs a nice spot to go when youβre not craving anything specific and just want a little bit of this and that. Before the pandemic, there were a few places like this in the FiDi, but most have closed down. I think this might be the last one still standing in the area. They charge by pound, so be very careful not to eat with your eyes. At $10.95 per pound, I was able to get a decent amount of food. To be honest, I had stopped coming here for a while because I find the cashier, who I believe is also the owner, to be less than welcoming, and very stingy (she asked me to put my wasabi and soy sauce packet on top of my box so i can get them weighted in). But now that I use Yelp as my food journal, I decided to give it another try and document my experience. The food overall is decent. The Korean fried chicken wings are super fresh, nicely crisped, and well seasoned. The japchae (Korean glass noodles) is flavorful and satisfying. The Mediterranean salad is refreshing and light. The sushi, while not outstanding, is decent for this kind of spot. The only real mi

Really nice food. Good quality. The place is clean and well organized. The staffs are nice and welcoming. It's a bit more expensive than I expected. Had one plate filled up costs around 19. Teriyaki salmon is not quite as in the picture. Was supposed to get some tuna poke but instead got avocado shrimp

Love their buffet style service! The place is a You-Choose-What-You-Eat and pay by pound restaurant. They have great selection of both vegetarian and meat options. I also saw sushi and spring rolls, which both are my favorite. They also have the options to choose from their bento boxes if you donβt know what to get. Will definitely come back to support!
